What ApplicatorExam collects when you practice for a pesticide applicator exam, and what it does not.

The short version

You can use every practice test and mock exam on ApplicatorExam without an account. Your answers and progress stay in your own browser. The only personal information we ask for is an email address, and only if you choose to join the Prep Pass waitlist.

What stays on your device

Your practice progress, missed questions, and mock exam results are saved in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to us. Clearing your browser data, or switching to another browser or device, removes them.

What we collect

  1. Waitlist email. If you join the Prep Pass waitlist, we store your email address, the exam or plan you signed up from, and the page you signed up on. We use it to email you when the pass opens. We do not use it for anything else.
  2. Usage statistics. We may use an analytics service to count page views and see which exams people practice. This tells us which pages to improve. It may include your browser type, device type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the page that referred you.
  3. Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar storage to remember your light or dark theme and your cookie choice. Analytics cookies are used only as described in the cookie notice shown on the site. We do not use cookies for advertising profiles.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site, such as hosting, analytics, and email delivery, and only as needed for that purpose. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep waitlist emails until the pass opens and the announcement is sent, or until you ask us to remove yours. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe. To have your email deleted, contact us at the address below.

Children

ApplicatorExam is meant for adults preparing for professional certification. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we add accounts or paid features, we will update this policy before they launch and change the date at the top of this page.
